FACILITIES
Library
A fully equipped semi-automatic library with ample volumes and titles are available on campus for utilization and reference. A digital library facility is also available to get up to date and current information on the various topics of interest of the inquisitor.
The Library is equipped with Pharmacy related Books, National and International journals. There is total of 2987 books under the various subjects of Pharmacy and separate section of references and Research.
The library is equipped with dedicated digital access facility to enable digital data acquisition system and compilation.
The library is capable to hold up to 100 readers at a time.
Dept of Pharmaceutics
A well-furnished and sophisticated, modern facility which enables the student to grasp the various aspects and concepts regarding the different phases of drug formulation, evaluation, filling, packing, labeling and dispensing of pharmaceuticals is made available. A dedicated biotechnology laboratory to carry out various microbiological studies. A machine room to simulate industrial atmosphere in the campus is also available.
The machine room and equipments enable an industrial simulation atmosphere in an academic scenario.
Dept. of Pharmacognosy
The department is having at its disposal a most modern facility and equipment that empowers the students to carry out various operations like extractions, isolation, identification and characterization of natural molecules from plant, animal, mineral and/or micro-biologicals, thus enabling to the students to explore the intricate world of natural products and their medicinal properties.
The department offers various and numerous opportunity to harness the potential herbal and ethanopharmacological concepts in play toenhance the students understanding of the role of nature in the healing process.
Dept. of Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Multiple fully furnished and equipped laboratories to facilitate the completion of various procedures involved the process of target molecule design, structural elucidation and drug design is fully functional in the institute.
The central instrumentation facility provides the facilities to kindle a young researchers enthusiasm to learn, discover and explore the possibilities in the filed of Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
Dept. of Pharmacology
The department of Pharmacology deals with the study of effects of various pharmaceuticals on human body and organs. A modern facility to enable the study on In-vitro as well as In-vivo is arranged and maintained in the department.
The department offers detailed and extensive knowledge and experience in the different areas of drug discovery such as Invitro, Invivo and Insilico methods. The practical applications of these branches and their knowledge in practical situation is a skill that the student can develop by the utilization of the facilities of this department.
Department offers testing facilities for researchers, students and public.
Transportation
The college is situated 8kms from the town of Muvattupuzha and the nearest railway station is Piravom road and nearest airport is cochin international airport.
The college is equipped with transportation facility to be availed by the students and faculty.

Public transportation facility also available from kothamangalam, perumbavoor, koothatukulam, piravom to college.
Hostels
A separate and fully furnished hostel facility is available for both girls and boys with all safety measures including live camera surveillance and security officers.
The students are provided with individual bed, study table and rack to storing their personal belongings and cupboard to safe guard other valuables.
The hostel is equipped with study hall, and sports facilities to promote physical activity from the students.
Canteen
A furnished canteen is available in the campus, that supplies the food to both the college hostels and to the staff members of the institution with a seating capacity of 200 users and is buffet system is followed.
The canteen staff is regular employees of the institution with regular health check ups and health card issued by the local authorities.
Class room
The institute is equipped with furnished, spacious class rooms to accommodate and provide students with optimum environment for promoting learning process. The classes can be taken using multimedia support using the fixed or portable projector facilities at the disposal and discretion of the concerned faculty.
Auditorium
An multimedia equipped auditorium is functional which can be utilized for hosting various cultural programs, seminars, workshops etc. The auditorium serve as the center of all the celebrations hosted in the campus such as Arts day, College day, Onam, Christmas, Ifthar and so on.
Sports facilities
Our college has secured various prices at Intercollegiate level for different sports events such as Throwball competition, tug of war competition.
Our college is the current intercollegiate college champions in women’s throwball competition.
The college organizes sports meet every year and conducts indoor, outdoor, athletics competitions and thw winner team represents the coollege team in intercollegiate and university sports events organized from time to time.
Together with sports arts and cultural competitions, literary events etc also find its place in the college life.
The institution prefers its students to excel in what all areas that suits their taste and nurtures such potential.
IT dept
The institute has a devoted IT department and is the examination center of various online exams such as selection examination of ministry of defense, Cochin university, BITS, IBPS, DRDO, BARC and so on. We are the online center for these examinations from the date of inception in the year 2016.
We have successfully conducted almost 1K online examinations so far in this center.
There are 3 computer labs with average of 150 fully function system with latest configuration.
The IT department also handles the KUHS Digital Evaluation Center, Examination Confidential Room which are part of University regulations.
